How guest reviews are handled
Guest review summaries and review text shown on hotel pages come from the SriLankaX review API; this storefront does not manufacture reviews or infer them from unrelated sources.
Score handling
SriLankaX review scores are canonical on a 0–5 scale. When a listing supplies a different display scale, the storefront converts the canonical score using the documented ratingScale relationship and labels the displayed scale.
Review text and authorship
Review bodies, author names/dates and dimension ratings are displayed only when returned by the API. Missing review text is shown as missing; it is not replaced with generated testimonials.
Star classification is different
An official hotel star classification is not the same thing as a guest review score. This storefront does not convert a guest score into an official star rating.
Structured data
AggregateRating or Review structured data should be emitted only when the same real values are visible on the page and supplied by the live API.
